Therion's magnetic travel pillow has 3 major benefits that set it apart from any other travel pillow:
- Therion's travel pillow produces powerful, 4,300 gauss magnetic fields that saturate your neck and shoulders. If you have any muscle tension before you start your trip, there's an 80 to 90 percent chance that you won't have it at all when you arrive at your destination. And at the very least, you'll feel much more relaxed.
- The travel pillow is excellent for preventing muscle tension too. If you don't have neck or shoulder tension before you start your trip, that's how you'll feel when you arrive at your destination!
- Micron III™ polyester fiber, is what gives Therion's travel pillow such a wonderfully soft and squishy feel. It provides the perfect support for your head and neck while reading or resting.

The travel pillow contains 16 large, 4,300 gauss magnets that are strategically placed so they surround your neck and shoulders with a deep penetrating bio-north magnetic field.
Micron III™ is a luxurious polyester fiberfil with a down-like feel that's incredibly comfortable. It's the same fiber we fill our Dreamzzz™ magnetic sleeping pillows with. The travel pillow is covered in a soft velour that feels gentle on your skin. Both the filling and the cover are breathable too, so the pillow won't make you hot or uncomfortable. Size: 11" x 13" x 3½".

Anisotropic magnets have a much stronger and more stable magnetic field then common, Isotropic magnets.
This extra step makes all the difference
Magnetic material crystals, in powder form, are magnetized so they orient (face) the same direction. This maximizes their energy storing capacity.
The magnetized crystals are molded into solid blocks, which are then cut into individual magnets. The magnets are then magnetized a second time, which charges them to maximum capacity.
This double magnetizing process gives the magnet a stronger, more stable magnetic field, and makes the magnet Anisotropic.
Common Isotropic magnets are magnetized only once, at the end of the manufacturing process.
Because the powder was not magnetized before molding to orient the crystals, the magnets can't store as much energy and are weaker.

The Manufacturer's Gauss Rating is an industry standard measurement that tells us the maximum amount of magnetic energy that a particular type and grade of magnet can hold.
This measurement remains constant, regardless of the number of magnets a product contains.
In other words, if a magnetic therapy product contains 10 magnets, and each magnet is rated at 4,000 gauss, the Gauss Rating of the product is still 4,000 gauss. It does not increase.

You may have noticed the term Penetration Depth on some websites used as a way of relating product effectiveness. This is the distance from the magnet where the strength of the magnetic field is no longer measurable.
The above method is meaningless in magnetic therapy because the magnetic field loses all therapeutic effectiveness long before that point.
At Therion, we developed the term Effective Penetration Depth. This is the distance from the magnet where the strength of the magnetic field is no longer therapeutically effective, which is significantly less than the Penetration Depth.
Using a 3,950 gauss, 4" x 6" x ½" ceramic magnet as an example:
The Penetration Depth is 22".
The Effective Penetration Depth is only 16".
The magnetic field is ineffective past 16".
