Therion's travel magnetic neck pillow is excellent for relieving neck pain and stiffness, pinched nerves, shoulder tension, and soothing away stress-related headaches.
Therion's travel neck pillow produces very dense, powerful, magnetic fields that saturate the neck and shoulders. This improves blood circulation by dilating capillary blood vessels. More oxygen is carried to muscles, relieving tension, spasm, and stiffness.
By increasing blood flow, the travel pillow also helps prevent neck and shoulder pain when sitting for a long period of time. It's especially useful for long road trips or flights.
Filled with Micron III™ polyester fiber, the travel magnetic neck pillow has a wonderful, soft and squishy feel. Its U-shape design provides the perfect support for your neck while reading or resting.
Includes easy-to-follow instructions. All magnets are bio-north facing the body. Made in the USA.

The travel neck pillow contains 16 large, 4,300 gauss ceramic magnets. These Advanced Biomagnetics® target high-stress areas behind the neck, along the cervical spine, and over the shoulders.
The travel pillow is covered in a breathable velour that feels soft and gentle on the skin. Pillow size: 11" x 13" x 3½".
Want to safeguard your new neck pillow and your health? Therion PureTech anti-microbial covers block out dust mites and allergens, kill germs and bacteria, and extend the lifespan of your magnetic pillow by several years.

Therion's Anisotropic magnets have a much stronger and more stable magnetic field then the common, Isotropic magnets used in most products.
One extra step makes all the difference:
To start, magnetically-sensitive crystals, in powder form, are magnetized so they orient (face) in the same direction. This maximizes their energy storing capacity.
The magnetized crystals are then molded into solid blocks, and cut into individual magnets. These are magnetized a second time, charging each magnet to maximum capacity.
This double-magnetization process gives Anisotropic magnets a stronger, more stable, and lasting magnetic field.
Common Isotropic magnets are magnetized only once, at the end of the manufacturing process. Because the powder is not magnetized to orient the crystals before molding, the magnets cannot store as much energy, and are weaker.

Magnets are made of different materials (Ex. ceramic, neodymium). Each material also comes in different quality grades.
Manufacturer's Gauss Rating is an industry standard measurement that tells us the maximum amount of energy a particular type and grade of magnet can hold.
This measurement remains constant, regardless of the number of magnets a product contains.
For example: If a magnetic therapy product has 10 magnets, and each magnet is rated at 1,000 gauss, the Gauss Rating of the product is still 1,000 gauss. It does not increase, or multiply to 10,000 gauss.

You may have noticed the term Penetration Depth or Range on some websites used as a way of relating product effectiveness. This is the distance from the magnet where the strength of the magnetic field is no longer measureable. (Close to 0 gauss.)
The above method is meaningless in magnetic therapy, because a magnetic field loses all therapeutic value long before reaching that point.
At Therion, we developed the term Effective Penetration Depth. This is the distance from the magnet where the magnetic field's strength is no longer therapeutically effective. This measurement is significantly less than simple Penetration Depth. However, it accurately reflects how much you will benefit from a magnetic product.
For example:
A 3,950 gauss, 4" x 6" x ½" ceramic magnet will have:
Penetration Depth: 22"
Effective Penetration Depth: 16"
Though it will not completely fade away until a distance of 22", the magnetic field offers no therapeutic value past 16".
To help you compare magnetic products, Therion provides both measurements.
