Magnetic Back Pads

Therion offers two magnetic back pads for different levels of lower back pain. They both produce uniform, bio-north magnetic fields to more effectively promote the body's natural healing process.

Both pads have twenty-four (24) large, 3/4" magnets each. The difference between the two pads is in the strength of the magnets. As you know a stronger magnetic field relieves pain and speeds healing more effectively than a less powerful magnetic field. The Sport back pad contains 4,300 gauss ceramic magnets. The Platinum back pad contains 12,800 gauss neodymium magnets. The Sport back pad is best for mild to moderate levels of pain. The Platinum back pad is excellent for a full range of mild to severe pain.

The pads also help prevent further lower back injury by conditioning the tissues in the area. The effect is similar to how warming up prior to exercise helps prevent injury by relaxing muscles and improving circulation. So if your lower back is prone to injury you should definitely wear the pad while performing any strenuous activities. You may also notice an increase in flexibility and range-of-motion while wearing the pad, which is why golfers and tennis players love them.

The pads measure 6" x 8" and are 1/2" thick and 3" wide Comfort Wraps™ (sold separately) is available to hold the pad securely in place. Both pads are made with Ultra-Flex™ cushioning and have a plush outer covering so they're very flexible and comfortable to wear. Easy-to-follow instructions are provided. Both the Platinum and Sport Back Pads are made by Therion in the USA.
