At Therion we understand that magnetic orthopedic supports can only be truly effective if they are worn consistently. We use proven biomagnetic technology to ensure that our Platinum and Balance series of orthopedic supports and braces can relieve pain, ease inflammation and significantly speed the natural healing process.

We knew that we could make the most effective magnetic orthopedic supports in the world, but they also have to be comfortable to wear. If the support material is too hot or uncomfortable you won't wear it long enough for the magnetic therapy fields to provide effective pain relief. That continues to be a problem with other magnetic supports.

Most orthopedic supports - particularly those made from standard Neoprene - allow excess heat to build up and perspiration to get trapped inside as you wear it. This makes the support become uncomfortable very quickly and leads many people to abandon using the product.

How MTR Orthopedic Supports and Braces Work...

We have developed a patented orthopedic support system that uses a hybrid Neoprene to create a balanced microclimate that actually breathes at a rate matching your level of activity. That's right - it actually adjusts to any level of activity! This allows excess heat and perspiration to escape at a controlled rate, so you always feel comfortable and will keep wearing the support as long as needed until you are healed.

That's why in clinical trials people using standard Neoprene orthopedic supports had to take them off after only a few hours while people using the MTR™ support material were able to wear them for 24 hours a day without discomfort.

For effective natural pain relief magnetic fields have to penetrate completely through the full depth of an injury site at a high enough strength. They cannot provide any real benefit if the magnetic field dissipates only a short distance from the surface. The problem is that the strength of a magnetic field decreases very quickly as the distance from the surface of the magnets increases. To solve this problem Therion developed a new biomagnetic engineering method called Maximum Field Integration™.

Using precise calculations we install large high-energy biomagnets at alternating positions within the supports. As a result MTR™ orthopedic supports feature very strong magnetic fields that intersect each other at precise angles deep within the body, completely saturating the injured area and significantly increasing effectiveness.

At Therion we offer two types of magnetic orthopedic supports - depending on the extent of your injury and the severity of your pain and inflammation. Both are designed so that you will feel comfortable enough to wear them until you feel better.

Therion Balance™

The Therion Balance series is very effective for pain and discomfort up to the the mid-range of the pain scale. Balance supports and braces contain large, 4,300 gauss research grade ceramic magnets.

Therion Platinum™

The award winning Therion Platinum series is designed to provide maximum relief for chronic joint conditions, and injuries with significant pain and swelling. They produce a much higher magnetic energy level and are deeper penetrating due to the Maximum Field Integration™ (MFI) technology, large 13,500 neodymium magnets and patented Thermal Reactive support material used in this series. Although they're designed for higher levels of pain and swelling, the Platinum series can be used for any level because the stronger the magnetic field, the more effective and faster acting it will be.

Balance or Platinum? - How to Decide

Balance supports and braces use the same patented Thermal Reactive support material as Platinum, but are more moderately priced because they don't have the Maximum Field Integration™ technology or the large neodymium magnets.

Since both series are Thermal Reactive and extemely comfortable, there are only two considerations in choosing between the Balance™ and Platinum™ series:

Using the Pain Scale, how much pain, swelling a discomfort do you have? If it's over 6 on the scale then you should definitely use the Platinum series. If it's 6 or below, the Balance series will work well for you.
If your borderline on the scale then consider speed of effectiveness, cost and possible future use in making your decision.
